Did an exit count on this box tonight.........175+! Afterwards I shined a light up inside and it was full of pups! Based on my ratios from last year after pups are flying I should get an exit count of about 250 later in July! So I've basically doubled my little brown bats roosting in this box this year! I was real happy!

Fantastic Terry! Lakes streams rivers are fantastic. I have found ponds to be last unless they're of the larger variety and then their suitable to bats. Good luck on future numbers.

Stopped by and looked at this box yesterday........it had the biggest guano pile ever underneath! I'm guessing I may reach 300 little browns in this box this year.....fortunately I have mounted another box just up the street.........Like most of my other sites with little brown bat maternity colonies this one has grown each year since it was put up in 2005!
